Cycladics: Then and Now, the major installation by Patrick Lysaght was installed Apr 17, 2007. Tad Perry Cranes from Kerrville hoisted each head to be lowered on the 30' steel pipes. The heads were five tons each when delivered to Lysaght's studio in Austin. The carving job was immense, including coring a center hole for the heads to slide onto the pipes. Coring required chipping the center stone by hand. Upon completion of carving the male head weighed 8700 pounds and the female 7800 pounds.
